Questions
Clear answers, before you arrive.
A London house should be easy to understand. If anything remains unspoken, write or telephone — we would rather explain twice than leave a doubt.
You write with a preferred morning or afternoon. We confirm a private hour in London — yours alone. Your pieces stay with you while we weigh, test and explain the figure. There is no public counter and no waiting room of strangers.
No. The calculator is an indicative melt estimate against a reference gold price. Stones, plating, mixed lots and unhallmarked pieces are assessed in person. The offer we make is the one we weigh together.
Yes. Hallmarked sterling silver, silver coins and mixed silver jewellery are received with the same discretion as gold. Bring what you have; we sort mixed boxes with you, piece by piece.
Hallmarked gold or silver jewellery, broken or unworn pieces, chains, rings, bangles, coins and sovereigns. If you are unsure, bring it. A form of identification is helpful when we settle.
Once you accept the figure, settlement is arranged promptly and plainly. You may consider the offer without pressure; if you decline, you leave exactly as you arrived.
Evenings can often be arranged. Same-day appointments depend on the diary. Telephone or WhatsApp if your timing is urgent and we will be frank about what is possible.
